Fact - Tis the Season 🌲
Fact - EVERYONE has more than usual going on at this time of year. YOU are not alone. 😉👈
Fact - You can still keep your health your #1
priority during the month of December. 😱
Fact - Your health and fitness shouldn’t change based on a more eventful time of year. 🤩
Fact - Time is NOT an excuse. You make time for what is important to you. ⏱️ When you make a commitment to yourself and you make it non negotiable you learn to make it work at the busier times of the year. There will always be parties, there will always be events, there will always be a season that includes different activities.
Tough times don’t last but tough people do. I am sure you have heard that one before. Well, it’s true. When you stick to your routines and keep your goals in front of you, you WILL feel the effects. Those who don’t are feeling sluggish, tired, getting sick, low energy, drained, exhausted, overwhelmed etc. Those who stick to their commitment themselves may feel a little more tired than usual (we aren’t perfect!) but they will feel a hell of a lot better than if they didn’t.
Everyday I hear my clients telling me how they overindulged one time and how unbelievable shitty they felt the next day - bloated, tired, cranky, depressed, irritable etc. The fact is that while we are totally allowed to do this once in awhile and we learn to do it without guilt, if you are doing this DAILY then it’s no surprise you are going to feel SUPER shitty and not just physically.
When you are loading your body full of nutritionally dense foods and eating not only enough but the right amount of macronutrients in a day, you will actually not even WANT as much crap as you do now. When you eat refined carbs, you want more. It’s a vicious cycle. Things can change and it can start today. .
