    Who else is totally guilty of scrolling through Facebook or Instagram and checking out all of the transformation pictures and posts and saying, "Gosh, I wish I was there." or "I wish I looked like that." You see, there are TONS of diets, pills, wraps, teas, detoxes, juice cleanses, programs, workouts out there. Everywhere, you see transformations, before and after photos of women where you see one side, she’s overweight, frown on her face, and miserable. The other side, her “END” result, she’s thin and/or fit, smile on her face, “happy”. Is that really the case though? Is she really happy with her end result? Social media, television, magazines, EVERYTHING we see in the world would lead us to believe that simply losing the weight and getting fit is what’s going to bring you true happiness. These are promises that somehow the number on the scale or size jeans you wear is the KEY 🔑 to your happiness and self worth. Let me tell you, ladies. THAT is an ILLUSION. ✔Do I think you should get to a healthy weight for YOUR body?? YES. ✔Do I want you to eat well for your health?? YES. ✔Do I want you to exercise and become strong?? YES. But I believe the key to LONG LASTING, LIFETIME results is learning to LOVE YOURSELF NOW. Because trust me – I’ve reached what I thought was my absolute happy place when it came to my weight and size. Was I TRULY happy though? NOPE. I neglected to do the leg-work in the beginning to really work on loving me - REGARDLESS of my weight or size or level of fitness. I don’t want you to join one of my 21 day challenges, lose 15 pounds, only to turn around and go back to your old habits and gain all of it back. I want you to work from the INSIDE out and get to the core of how you can unlock your full potential. I want to teach you how to love YOU again. I want to help you learn a style of eating, and find an exercise schedule that works for YOU, so you can break the chains of torturing yourself with fad and starvation diets and quick fixes, and FINALLY feel like THE BEST VERSION OF YOU!!     Transformation Tuesdays scare the shit out of me. Hello self doubt 👋🏻 I work so hard, what if my results don't show? What if people only look at my physical change and not the mental one? I think it's quite obvious my level of discomfort and unhappiness in the first picture. That picture was taken 4 months ago. After a major depressive episode, I had gained almost 20 pounds. I had no energy. Feeling gross was my norm. I was not moving. I knew I was headed down a steep slope back to my binge eating and obese days. So I put my foot down. I will never let myself go back to that unhealthy lifestyle. Never. So I started drinking my shakeology again and working out. Soon enough, I fell in love with the process all over again! After about two weeks I wasn't feeling as tired. I could feel a decrease in the "disgusting" feeling that used to take up most of my day. After three weeks, I started to lose some inches and pounds. This only motivated me more. After a month, I felt so much better that I decided to become a coach and help others feel better too! And here I am today. I feel happy. I feel good about my health. I have energy. 13 inches are gone from my waist and hips alone. I'm training for a freaking half marathon for goodness sake! I'm not falling asleep in class or staying in bed all day because I am so tired. I am working on me, for me. For my health. For my happiness. For my sanity. Change is possible my friends. You just have to put in the work. And you don't have to do it alone!!
