, or more like scent of the most of the Holy Week for me this year: L'Envol de Cartier - @cartier
, perfumer Mathilde Laurent.
At first , it seems fresh like a #citrus
fruit, but dry, with subtle reminiscences of #iris
woodiness and #honey
drops. As a matter of fact, this stage is the most masculine it can get. Afterwards, probably 15-20 minutes later, the magic is weaving its spells, and the truth about it is folding and unfolding on repeat. Deceiving. Something is cooking for hours, like : 'Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble." Or more like a fairy chant: "Good fairy folk,
Wild and free,
Beyond the Veil,
Please let me see!" And then, BANG! , I am trapped! An entanglement for people prone to addictions, like me. I can be officially announced a L'Envol #addict
, because I couldn't (and wouldn't) stop wearing it for four days.
Discerning the particular ingredients is very hard for me, because the #fragrance
is a cultivated fusion of #woods
and surprisingly - honey. Le saveur de miel here is far from its usual post-fitness or piss-like behavior, and it makes the fragrance even more bewitching and , I dare say, sexy, without a trace of temerity. Occasionally, when I am buried with work and I forget I am wearing perfume, I can get a whiff of freshly crushed #mint
leaves, that swiftly brightens my eyes and clears my mind. It gives me wings, inspires me (for drawing) and I feel like a swallow, whooshing over the desert! I need a full bottle, ASAP! #MathildeLaurent #Cartier #LEnvoldeCartier
