    I'm always looking for new protein sources because I'm not the biggest fan of meat. I tried kefir for the first time and this was really good! Definitely more sour then my fage Greek yogurt but with the mix in it was yummy. And still only 4g sugar and 10g protein.     Pan Seared Snapper over Sesame Yogurt with Shiso Pickles 🐟🥒🍲Ingredients: 1 snapper filet, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1/2 cup fat free Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup plain kefir, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 heaping tbsp shiso cucumber pickles, 1/4 tsp grated cured egg yolk (optional) 🌌Directions: pat snapper dry and sprinkle both sides with s&p. Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix yogurt, kefir, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a bowl, set aside. Heat coconut oil over medium-high heat in an oven safe pan; once hot, sear snapper 2-3 min side, until a nice crust forms. Place whole pan in oven for 4-7 min, depending on how thick the fish filet is (mine was small, so 4 min). Place fish over yogurt, drizzle sesame oil on top, sprinkle cured egg yolk on top too. Top fish with pickles. 💡Substitutions: can use any fish for this cooking method, adjust cooking time according to thickness. Can make your own shiso pickles (mine are store bought) or top with any other briny salty kind of sweet pickle.     Today felt like a smoothie bowl kind of day. Especially as I bought my first dragon fruit this week and wanted to show off that beautiful flesh. I have to confess, I wasn't a huge fan. Which got me thinking about how we sometimes think we should eat certain fruits and vegetables because they are particularly good for us. The truth is, if there's a vegetable you don't like - don't eat it. You'll be able to find the same nutrients in another, more palatable vegetable. There's no need to stuff yourself with kale or Brussels sprouts just because you think it's the right thing to do. It is far better that you enjoy your veggies. Are there any fruits or vegetables that you don't like?
