Jessica Ogden (@the_cats_whiskers) - the Jamaican-born fashion designer who studied in New York and showed her collections at London Fashion Week from 1996-2006 - is back with an exhibition celebrating both her archive and current work. After launching her own label in 1993, she pioneered repurposing techniques that she used during her time working for Oxfam's fashion label, No Logo. The new exhibition, which opened today at 31-33 Church Street in Marylebone, is an almost autobiographical exploration of her work, curated by Chelsea College of Arts' Professor Carol Tulloch.

Consistently innovative and profoundly influential, the work of Cristóbal Balenciaga has fundamentally shaped the state of fashion today, and tomorrow - to mark the centenary of the opening of his first studio in San Sebastian, the V&A are launching an exhibition to honour the designer's legacy, looking at the house from its inception to the present day. ‘His work is very beautiful on the one hand, and a quirky oddity on the other,’ said the curator Cassie Davies-Strodder when we asked her what she most admires about Balenciaga. Read our piece on why you should visit the exhibition on now. 👗✨ @lindaevangelista wearing a Nicolas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga hat in #LOVE7, Photography @mertalas and @macpiggott, Fashion Editor @kegrand

'I think realness and individuality,' said @saundersstudio of how he would describe the notion of glamour in his new chapter at the helm of @dvf. 'Girls being expressive and being able to look how they want to fucking look, and not be generic or conformist in terms of what people perceive as glamourous.' We caught up with Jonathan Saunders earlier today at DVF's newly-refurbished London store, where he staged a conversation with @susiebubble. ‘Amy Adams is perfectly skilled in that special talent possessed by great actors of being the same but different. She crosses class, taste and social strata deftly on film,' wrote @paul_flynn of this week's #WCW for #LOVE12. 'She can do saccharine, sentimental, sadistic and sex. She is a unique kind of everywoman, one that can bring Nebraska to the art-house and the art-house to Disney.' Photography #JuergenTeller, Fashion Editor @simonrobins1000
